We provide Salesforce consulting, implementation, customization, integration, analytics, training, support, and carefully scoped AI automation to clients in Canada and the United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through vernica.ca (hosted on Google Blogger), subject to applicable Canadian privacy laws, including British Columbia's PIPA and, where applicable, Canada's PIPEDA.

1. Information we collect

• Contact-form details: name, email address, and message content when you use the Contact form. Purpose: respond to your inquiry and provide quotes.
• Correspondence: emails to hello@vernica.ca or calls to +1 604-754-8481.
• Technical data (via Google/Blogger): Google/Blogger may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies for security, spam prevention, and platform analytics. We do not intentionally add cross-site advertising or retargeting tags to this site.

2. Consent

By submitting the contact form or emailing us, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information for the purposes described here. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing hello@vernica.ca, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

3. How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals.
• Deliver contracted consulting services and support.
• Maintain business records and comply with tax/legal obligations.
• Protect against spam, fraud, and abuse.

We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you expressly opt in.

4. Service providers (disclosure)

• Google / Blogger: site hosting, contact-form delivery, spam filtering, and platform security. Data may be stored or processed on servers outside Canada (including the United States) and is subject to local laws there. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• LinkedIn: only if you click through to our company page.
• Professional advisors: accountants or legal counsel under confidentiality, only as needed.

5. Retention

Inquiry records: retained up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymized. Client engagement records: retained 7 years for tax/accounting, then securely destroyed. You may request earlier deletion where legally permitted.

6. Safeguards

We use Blogger/Google's TLS encryption in transit, restricted mailbox access, and least-privilege handling of inquiry data. No method is 100% secure; please do not send passwords or highly sensitive data via the contact form.

7. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, information about how it has been used or disclosed, and deletion where applicable. Contact hello@vernica.ca with subject “Privacy Request”. We respond within the time required by applicable privacy law. Unresolved concerns may be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are business-to-business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
